Franz Joseph Hermann Michael Maria von Papen, Erbsälzer zu Werl und Neuwerk (29 October 1879 – 2 May 1969) was a German far-right politician and diplomat who served as Reich Chancellor of the Weimar Republic from 1 June to 3 December 1932 and Reich Deputy Chancellor from 30 January 1933 until his resignation on 7 August 1934.
