Kyriakos Mitsotakis is a Greek politician who is the current prime minister of Greece and the current leader of New Democracy.

Policies

Mitsotakis, since his election, has applied increasingly neoliberal policies with privatizations and reducing of workers' rights. Mitsotakis has received criticism for heightened corruption during his term,[1][2] as well as a deterioration of freedom of the press in Greece.[3][4][5] His term was marred by the 2022 wiretapping scandal[6] and the Tempi Train crash.[7]
