Some users have various disabilities that can impair reading and writing articles, so this article will attempt to collect tools and techniques to make your visit to ProleWiki easier.

Reading Prolewiki

Most devices have a built-in screen reader that you can turn on to check out alt text as you move around the web. You can also install these apps:

  • Read Aloud: A Text to Speech Voice Reader by LSD Software

Android

  • @Voice Aloud Reader by Hyperionics Technology

PDF or Epub to plain text

  • @Voice Aloud Reader by Hyperionics Technology (options > save > give file name with .txt file extension)

GNU/linux

  • Calibre
  • pdftotext

Turn article into sound file

Android

  1. Save article as PDF: in any browser, go to options menu > share icon > save as PDF
  2. open PDF in the app @Voice Aloud Reader by Hyperionics Technology, go to options > Record sound file
