Socialism (or the low phase of communism) is a mode of economic production based on the premise "From each according to their capacity, to each according to their work." The first experiment in the scientific development of socialist economics took place in the Soviet Union in the late 1920s, when the compulsory collectivization of the land from the kulaks took place.
