Obviously since we're dealing with a country it will eventually be filled with much information. For instance, the History section, to be complete, would need at least to deal with European (Spanish, French and later British) colonization, development of capitalism and its bourgeois revolution, development of imperialism at the end of the 19th century, 20th century Cold War and 21st century hegemony.

While it's indeed big for the standards of ProleWiki, I don't think its sections are ready to be split into different articles yet. When that time comes, we can begin transferring the content from this article to the split one. There are some parts that need a summarizing, though. Some parts, instead of relying on reference quotes, quotes them inside the paragraphs, giving the impression there is much information there, but they can all be condensed into a single sentence with references.
