Line 1: Line 1:
A socialist military junta could aid in suppression of bourgeois elements. A Marxist military junta could still be supported by the people. Maybe there was a bourgeois military junta established earlier that the people hated; or a Marxist party has popular support and the people want the bourgeois government out of their land.

As long as the military junta doesn't oppress proletarians; a military junta could aid in supporting the people.

Of course, the military junta should be able to be democratically dissolved by the people (usually when immense militarization is no longer necessary). A military junta, in contrast to a state military, is not necessary for a socialist state to survive, as proven by the existence of the [[USSR]] and [[People's Republic of China]].

More details on this page are definitely needed though; and I might be missing information that goes counter to this opinion.

~~Update: Thinking this further, for a military junta to survive; it must establish a dictatorship over the people (to keep military people in power). That would be a problem as the people would inevitably vote for non military government members and such a government wouldn't remain stable for long. So, probably not?~~
