Political Positions

Schäuble supported the imperialist 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Schäuble told people "to wear a second sweatshirt" due to the 2022 energy crisis in Germany.

He also was one of the key people in the Greek government debt crisis of 2009-2018.[1]

He also received harsh criticism from Yanis Varoufakis, who had also served as Minister of Finance during the 2015 Grexit crisis.[2]
