Yamagami Tetsuya（山上 徹也) is a Japanese-born criminal, who rose to international fame when he murdered former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in July 2022.
Dealth of Shinzo Abe
Abe had ties to the cult known as the Unification Church (统一教), accepting donations and providing political patronage to the cult. Yamagami Tetsuya's mother, who was an integrated member of the cult, gave the Unification Church a lot of money and even sold her house. On July 7, 2022, when Abe was giving a speech in Okayama City, Yamagami shot and killed Abe with a homemade shotgun. His assassination has excited many Chinese and Koreans.[1]
