The State of Alabama is a federal state of the United States. Alabama borders the states of Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi as well as 60 miles of coastline on the Gulf of Mexico. Alabama has several nicknames including but not limited to the Yellowhammer State, Heart of Dixie, the Cotton State, and the Cameilla State.[1]
