Kheti III (22nd century BCE) was the ruler of the Lower Egyptian city of Nen-nesut during the First Intermediate Period. Around 2160 BCE, he went to war against nearby independent cities and nomadic tribes in order to expand his rule across Egypt. At the same time, the rulers of Waset also claimed the Egyptian throne and fought against Nen-nesut.[1]
