'''Jonas Noreika''' (8 October 1910 – 26 February 1947) was a [[Republic of Lithuania (1918–1940)|Lithuanian]] [[German Reich (1933–1945)|Nazi]] collaborator, [[Lithuanian partisans|partisan]], and an active participant in the [[Holocaust]].  As governor of the [[Šiauliai District (1941–1945)|Šiauliai District]], he oversaw the massacre of 1,800 [[Judaism|Jews]] in the [[Plungė massacre]].
