Noda Tsuyoshi (Japanese:野田毅 Hiragana:のだつよし 1912 - January 28, 1948), from Kagoshima, Japan, was a Class C war criminal in the Japanese invasion of [[Republic of China|China]] and a junior officer in the [[Empire of Japan (1868–1947)|Japanese]] army. In 1937, before and after the capture of [[Nanjing|Nanking]], he and [[Toshiaki Mukai|Mukai Toshiaki]] engaged in a [[Nanjing Killing Contest|horrific killing]] contest in which Noda Tsuyoshi savagely hacked and killed 105 Chinese soldiers and civilians with a military sword. On December 18, President Shih Mei Yu sentenced Noda and Mukai to death for murder and war crimes, and on January 28, 1948, Noda and Mukai were taken to the Yuhuatai execution ground for execution.
