Mysticism is the religious (but by definition also philosophical) concept that there are things humans are not meant to, or fundamentally unable to, ever understand.
It is the opposite of science, which dispels myths and seeks to explain the world around us. Thus the science of Marxism–Leninism is the most advanced opposite to mysticism as it not only seeks to explain the world, but also change it.
