Ciudad Caribia is a planned 21st century socialist community located west of the capital city of Caracas, in Vargas state, in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, that began construction in 2006. The planned community was the brainchild of late, former president Hugo Chávez, with continued construction by Nicolás Maduro.
