Taisiya Zakharovna Solzhenitsyna (née Shcherbak; 21 October 1894 – 17 January 1944) was a wealthy Russian farmer and landholder, and the mother of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. Her father, Zakhar Fyodorovich Shcherbak, was the wealthiest landholder in Kuban.[citation needed]
