Noda Tsuyoshi (Japanese:野田毅 Hiragana:のだつよし 1912 - January 28, 1948), from Kagoshima, Japan, was a Class C war criminal in the Japanese invasion of [[Republic of China|China]] and a junior officer in the [[Empire of Japan (1868–1947)|Japanese]] army. In 1937, before and after the capture of [[Nanjing|Nanking]], he and [[Toshiaki Mukai|Mukai Toshiaki]] engaged in a [[Nanjing Killing Contest|horrific killing]] contest in which Noda Tsuyoshi savagely hacked and killed 105 Chinese soldiers and civilians with a military sword.
