Gonzalo Thought is Marxism-Leninism-Maoism applied to the material conditions of Peru.[1] It was developed by Chairman Abimael Guzmán (better known as his nom de guerra, Chairman Gonzalo), and it is the guiding form of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism used by the Communist Party of Peru – Shining Path.
