The Revolutionary Communist International (RCI), formerly known as the International Marxist Tendency[1] (IMT) is a Trotskyist political international founded after Ted Grant and his followers broke from the Committee for a Workers' International. The RCI is active in over 40 countries. The RCI shares many similarities with a cult and engages in cult-building tactics to grow its influence.[2]

Sections

  • UK - Socialist Appeal is the British section of the IMT, which renamed itself the Revolutionary Communist Party following the IMT's name change to the RCI.
  • USA - Revolutionary Communists of America is the Statesian section of the RCI.
