Introduction

On the 8th of august, 2022 CE, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a major secret police organisation in the United States of America, had performed a search on the estate, Mar-a-lago, owned by the bourgeois and former-US president, Donald Trump. As I write this, on the 12th of august, 2022 CE, many things remain unknown, with one of the possible motivations for this secret police search being to procure evidence in the theft of top-secret nuclear codes, among other things.

However, my interest in this case lies not so much in the specific circumstances of this, but more in the reaction to this action, in particular, the reaction from the Communist community. While the typical is expected from the US-American far-right, that is, yells of "Government overreach!", what had been less expected is the reaction from some of my comrades from the United States of America. While I am certainly aware of the Revisionism within the Revolutionary Socialist community, never had I past expected to hear, from fellow Communists, calls for "unification" with the Far-right, nor claims that the centre-right party, the Democratic Party, was "becoming Fascist".

I have decided to write-down some thoughts on this incident, the greater socio-economic and political trends that influence the reaction to it, and correct the line that Communists should follow in regards to this matter.

What does this event mean?

This recent secret police search is indicative of a growing trend in the USA: the Republican Party's separation from Liberalism and adoption of Fascism. In a manner similar to that of the Nazis, the USA Republican Party is, at its metaphorical roots, a capitalist organisation which seeks the violent defence of the socio-economic order, just like the USA Democratic Party, and just like the German Social Democratic Party of a century-ago. The Republican Party, and the Nazi Party are, however, distinct from the Liberals of both their respective governments in the degree in which they are willing to defend the socio-economic order; whereas the Social Democrats and Liberals seek to softly pacify their proletariat via the creation of a labour aristocracy and the implementation of bourgeois democracy, the Nazis and Republicans have and will resort to much more brutal, direct means of maintaining a bourgeois class dictatorship - the extreme adherence to bourgeois nationalism (which inherently creates an atmosphere of class-collaboration), the massive enlargement of both paramilitary and military forces, and the militant repression of Socialists and Communists.

Capitalism in the USA is under deep threat, the people are malcontent, depressed, class conscience, and are barely even getting their basic needs met - the conditions for a revolutionary situation is developing, and the US-American ruling class has grown fearful. As such, a large section of the bourgeoisie in the USA have turned to the ultimate means of defending class and capital - Fascism. This Fascism is not the classical Fascism seen in Germany and Italy, but a new sort of Fascism, Trumpism. Not all of the USA bourgeoisie adheres to this new form of Neo-fascism, however, a large faction of them still maintain Liberal bourgeois-democratic ideology, and as such, there now exists a conflict between these factions of the bourgeoisie: the Liberal bourgeoisie against the Neo-fascist bourgeoisie.

The event at Mar-a-lago is but one example of this internal conflict, other examples include the crackdown on internet-based Neo-fascist groups, the 2021 Capital Coup attempt, and others. But one thing must be noted, in spite of Fascists sometimes claiming that their system represents something unique from that of Liberalism, Fascism is merely the final, most brutal form of the Capitalist order. The Fascists in the USA do not seek to create a new order in society, they merely seek a extreme form of Neoliberal economics and politics. Fascists are not radical, but are inherently establishmentarian. While the Trumpists may have begun to say things such as "Defund the FBI!", they do not care to replace the opressive system which creates opressive secret police forces; it is simply the case that the secret police in the USA have sided with the Liberals, and not the Fascists.

How should Communists react to this event?

This trend of Fascistisation in the USA is indeed both a good and bad trend. It is bad in the way that the USA is at a major risk of becoming a Fascist state, hence an even more genocidal form of the USA than when the Liberals were in power, and it is good in the way that it shows that Capitalism is rapidly showing itself for what it truly is: a repressive, exploitive, and destructive system. This trend furthermore shows that the American Empire is finally declining, with the rise of other powers such as the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation, the 30-year-long post-cold-war era of unrivaled US-American global hegemony is finally breaking apart.

As revolutionaries, we must educate the masses of this trend, and show them that this event and greater trend of the birth of Neo-fascism in the USA is not a simple one-sided matter of "Government Overreach!", but a conflict between the Liberal bourgeoisie and the Fascist bourgeoisie, and this conflict itself is born from the dealth of Capitalism which we are presently seeing before us.

While certain elements who falsely call themselves Communists and who are really Neo-fascists have concluded that Trump was in the moral right, and that the Liberals are really the one who are the Fascists, they are fortunately a fringe group, and their diatribes are being reached by an increasingly smaller amount of people, those people turning to real Communists such as us. We should not take this event in the USA as a call to ally with the Liberals against Fascism, for then our own revolutionary and socialist ideology will be turned into a reformist and capitalist one, nor shall we ally with the Neo-fascists, for they are the most extreme Capitalists, and are very much hateful to us, as is to be expected.

Instead, these events in the USA should be a call to action; to organise or join a revolutionary organisation, a call to further spread propaganda via the internet, to partake in Anti-fascist action, and to make ready for the revolution in your nation. The demise of the United States of America will be a blissful event for all the peoples in this world, all the ethnic groups who are put in internment camps, all the workers who are paid nothing yet do everything, all the imperialised people whose governments are USA-backed despots, and to all the people, including myself, whose future and dreams were robbed by the American Empire, Capitalism, and the bourgeois thugs who rule it. To all my comrades who had the misfortune of being born in the USA, I wish to tell you one thing in particular:

Destroy America; build anew.
