The Liberal Party of Canada is a centre-right Neoliberal political party. It is among the most influential political parties in the politics of Canada. Since confederation, the Liberals have formed government in 26 out of 44 general elections, and traditionally try to appeal to a large number of voters by positioning themselves as a centrist party between the neoliberal, socially conservative Conservative Party of Canada and social-democratic New Democratic Party.
