Albert Hofmann (11 January 1906 – 29 April 2008) was a Swiss-born researcher from the Sandoz company which supplied LSD to the CIA and U.S. Army as part of MKUltra. He was in the French village of Pont-Saint-Espirit in the summer of 1951, around the same time that 250 of its villagers suffered from LSD poisoning and seven died.[1]
