Theodor W. Adorno (11 September 1903 in Frankfurt am Main, – 6 August 1969 in Visp, Valais, Switzerland), born Theodor Ludwig Wiesengrund, was a German philosopher, sociologist, composer, and leading member of the Frankfurt School.
