The Islamic State, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) or the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), is a far-right Sunni Islam fundamentalist group in Western Asia. It is funded by Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.[1]
