Ronald Reagan was a neoliberal U.S. politician and the President of the United States from 1981 to 1989.
Presidency
Reagan blamed the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s on gay people instead of trying to eradicate the disease. His policies caused thousands of needless deaths.[1] Reagan cut subsidized housing by more than 80% and said that homeless people were homeless by choice.[2]
