Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor is the Queen of the United Kingdom and several of its former colonies. She became queen on 6 February 1952 and has reigned for 70 years, longer than any other British monarch. Since 2012, popular support for the monarchy has decreased from 73% to 62%, and only 33% of people aged 18–24 support the monarchy.[1]
