The Occupy movement was an international left-wing movement in the early 2010s. On January 10, 2012, protestors in San Francisco forced the offices of Goldman Sachs, Chase, and Bank of America to close for a day.[1]

State repression[edit | edit source]

New York Police raided Occupy Wall Street on November 15, 2011.[2] Oakland police used tear gas and rubber bullets and arrested 400 protestors [3]
