Scott Baldwin is a Statesian politician, businessman, and former police officer who is currently serving as a member of the Indiana Senate from the 20th district.

On 5 January 2022, Baldwin said in reference to teachers discussing Nazism in a bad light that "I'm not discrediting any of those -isms out there [...] I believe that we've gone too far when we take a position on those -isms [...] We need to be impartial."[1] Baldwin later backtracked from his original statement following massive public outcry.
