Political activist Lesley Boulton is attacked by police at the Battle of Orgreave

• The Battle of Orgreave occurs during the United Kingdom Miners Strike of 1984-1985. It began when picketting miners were attacked by police. By the end of the fighting more than 123 people were injured and 95 striking miners were arrested.
