Woodrow Wilson Guthrie (July 14, 1912 – October 3, 1967) was a Statesian musician and CPUSA member. His most famous song was "This Land is Your Land", and he also wrote songs criticizing the Korean War, Chiang Kai-shek, and nuclear bombing of Japan. He supported Henry Wallace's 1948 presidential campaign which sought peace with the USSR and abolition of foreign military bases.[1]
