The Unite the Right rally was a far-right white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States in August 2017. 500 neo-Nazis and other right-wing extremists participated in the rally, which was broken up by thousands of counter-protestors. One counter-protestor was killed,[1] and several others received criminal charges.[2]
