GETchan is a communist music channel on YouTube. It has existed since 2011 and has uploaded many rare socialist songs with subtitles. As of September 2022, the channel has roughly 74,000 subscribers and over 46 million views.[1]

Censorship

In 2020, YouTube blocked the "Songs of the International Revolution (1917-2017)" compilation in Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland for copyright reasons.[2] In April 2022, YouTube removed the Palestinian song "In the Name of the Popular Front" because it promoted the PFLP, which YouTube considers a "violent criminal organization."[3]
