The President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy, commonly known as the Warren Commission, was a U.S. government commission led by Chief Justice Earl Warren that covered up the CIA's role in the assassination of John F. Kennedy and framed Lee Harvey Oswald for the murder. In addition to Warren, its members included CIA director Allen Dulles, congressman and future President Gerald Ford, and World Bank president and Assistant Secretary of War John McCloy.[1]

Dissenting members

Senator Richard Russell from Georgia believed that there were multiple shooters because a fourth bullet hit an overpass much farther from Kennedy than the other bullets.[1]
