The 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Galician) (German: 14. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS (galizische Nr. 1); Ukrainian: 14а Гренадерська Дивізія СС (1а галицька)), also known as the SS Volunteer Division "Galician", the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Ukrainian), the 1st Ukrainian Division of the Ukrainian National Army, or simply the Galician Division, was a unit of the Nazi German Waffen-SS established in 1943 during World War II. The unit was made up primarily of ethnic Ukrainian volunteers from Galicia, though it also used some Slovak conscripts in the later stages of the war.
