The All-Union Leninist Young Communist League, abbreviated Komsomol, was a communist youth organization in the Soviet Union.

History

Gorbachev and his followers turned the Komsomol into a training ground for future capitalists. They set up the USSR's first stock exchanges and private banks.[1]
