Al-Andalusian, sometimes known as Al-Anda or Andalusian is a Marxist-Leninist editor from southern Spain. He is reportedly a group of puppies working together to overthrow capitalism.[1] Each Al-Andalusian account is run by its assigned puppy.
Entry questions[edit | edit source]
1. I think I first heard of it shortly after getting on Lemmygrad when r/GenZedong got quarantined. I saw that the English ProleWiki has 1900 articles while the Spanish one only has 10, so I thought that I could try to translate the English articles to Spanish since I'm a native speaker.
2. I consider myself a Marxist-Leninist. My family is very right wing, so when I started to pay a minimal amount of attention to politics I defaulted to agreeing with the right. The people I used to follow on Twitter were social democrats, and they sometimes expressed their political opinions and I saw that what they said made sense so I started to identify as social democrat as well. A couple of years ago I saw a video on YouTube about a geopolitical Minecraft server, I ended up joining a democratic socialist country there and by this time I started getting comfortable with the whole "socialism" thing. I joined the Left Unity discord server and when I was answering the questions to get in I remember to have mentioned something about the "Uighur genocide" (by this time I was slightly skeptical about it but leaned more towards believing it) and someone there linked me to a debunk on r/GenZedong. I had already heard about GZD before but just like any other redditor I thought badly of it at the time. I was kinda uncomfortable but I decided to read it, and I remember saying to the person who gave me the link that the post made a lot of sense. I got more comfortable with socialism, watching Second Thought videos and checking out r/GenZedong every now and then. I finally started to consider myself a communist, and then the r/GenZedong quarantine happened. People on there talked about Lemmygrad so I decided to check it out, and ended up joining. There I developed my political views quite a lot, and that's where I am now.
3. I have read them, they look very good. I don't have too much to say here, I agree with all of it.
4. I like China. Some people criticize it a lot and even call it capitalist but I think that (warning: I don't really know what I'm talking about so take this with an excavatorful of salt but it makes sense to me) opening the economy to foreign countries has allowed China to first develop its economy incredibly fast and second getting the west to willfully deindustrialize and move their production to China in pursue of greater profits, which I think prevents the west to impose the same level of sanctions as they impose on the DPRK or Cuba, since one just can't do that with the factory of the world. Yes, China is definitively socialist, they have a vanguard party at the helm which constantly looks after the working class.
5. I'm fascinated with Stalin, he led the USSR to victory against fascism, and the west won't forgive him for that. As far as I understand he coined the term 'Marxism-Leninism' and he was the one who decided to focus on protecting the revolution at home which I think was a very good decision.
6. Some people are discriminated against for who they are or who they do or don't love, which makes their lives especially painful. This is a horrible thing, and all Marxists must necessarily support the LGBT community in their struggle for the right to be themselves.

Other relevant information: I'm a native Spanish speaker, and I think I could try to translate some English ProleWiki articles to Spanish. I have to say that I don't have any experience with MediaWiki, but I gotta start somewhere I guess. I have been studying since early 2022, although I haven't read much theory since I have attention problems that make me have to read the same sentence several times in order to understand what I'm reading which is exhausting.
