Gonzalo Thought, along with [[Maoism|Marxism-Leninism-Maoism]], were both coined by Chairman [[Abimael Guzmán]] (better known as his nom de guerra, Chairman Gonzalo). Gonzalo Thought is the guiding form of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism used by the [[Communist Party of Peru – Shining Path]], of which Guzmán was the "Chairman" and led a [[cult of personality]].
