Nikolai Alexandrovich Bulganin (11 June 1895 – 24 February 1975) was a Soviet political and military leader who served as the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR from 1955 to 1958 as well as the Minister of Defence of the USSR from 1953 to 1955.
