The Palestinian genocide is the ongoing systematic genocide and oppression of the Palestinians by the State of Israel. It is defined by the settler colonial project of the Israeli state known as Zionism and has pushed for the cultural destruction of the Palestinian people.[1][2][3][4] The genocide has led to the rise of Palestinian resistance groups such as Hamas and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).[5] Resistance to the genocide has led to Israel enacting a siege on the Gaza Strip with the goal of eliminating the Palestinian resistance from Hamas.[6]
