Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg is a neoliberal capitalist Statesian politician in the Democratic Party who is currently the US Secretary of Transportation in the government of Joe Biden. He previously worked for the consulting firm McKinsey.
Pete made headlines in the 2020 presidential election for being the first openly gay presidential candidate in US history and was hailed as a "progressive" in the bourgeois media, but was increasingly exposed as a fraud to the genuine progressive left as more of his record came to light.[1][2]
In response to the 2022 baby formula crisis, he callously remarked that the US is a capitalist economy and that the government should not be involved in market affairs, even if it meant saving babies' lives.[3]
