Serbia, officially the Republic of Serbia, is a country in the Balkans. NATO-backed separatists in Kosovo led by the Kosovo Liberation Army declared independence from Serbia in 2008.[1] In 2010, 81% of Serbians said that life was better under Tito in Yugoslavia than it is now.[2]
