Robert F. Williams was an Afro-American revolutionary best known for his leading role in the Republic of New Afrika as well as having authored Negros with Guns, which went on to inspire Black Nationalist politics throughout the 1960s. The experiences of Robert Williams in Monroe would go on to influence a number of groups, such as the Revolutionary Action Movement, Black Panther Party, and Black Liberation Army.
