The Roter Frontkämpferbund (Red Front Fighters' Alliance) was the paramilitary wing of the Weimar-era Communist Party of Germany (KPD). It was a formally legal organization, yet was nonetheless banned by the anti-communist SPD in 1929.[1] At its peak, the RFB had over 100,000 members.
