Tenutamen (died 653 BCE) was the last pharaoh of the 25th Dynasty of Egypt. He inherited the throne from Taheruq, who died in 664 BCE, and briefly conquered Lower Egypt. The Egyptians welcomed him as a liberator for ending the Assyrian occupation. However, he retreated southward when a second Assyrian army arrived.[1]
