The Communist Party (Marxist–Leninist) was an ultra-leftist party in the United States that followed the line of the People's Republic of China. It originated out of the October League (OL). The OL was initially less sectarian than the Revolutionary Communist Party, but it switched around 1976 and refused to participate in actions with the CPUSA.[1]
