Charles James Kirk (14 October 1993 in – 10 September 2025) was a Statesian conservative author, podcaster, and political activist who co-founded and directed the student organisation Turning Point USA (TPUSA) from 2012 until his assassination in 2025.

In the 12 October 2022 episode of the Charlie Kirk Show, Kirk said "I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made up new age term that does a lot of damage."[1]
In December 2023, at a TPUSA political conference, Kirk said that Martin Luther King Jr. was "awful" and "not a good person." He also said that "We made a huge mistake when we passed the Civil Rights Act in the 1960s."[1]
In September 2024, in a Jubilee debate, when asked if he would want his 10 year old daughter to give birth if she was raped, Kirk said that "The answer is, yes, the baby would be delivered."[1]
In July 2025, Kirk claimed that "Israel is not starving Gazans" during the Gaza genocide when Gazans were being starved.[1]
In August 2025, in response to celebrity Taylor Swift, Kirk said "Reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor. You're not in charge."[1]
