Write an APA formatted essay on TOPIC, defining what it is and why it is necessary.

  • 750-1000 words
  • 12 pt font with some Serif based font
  • Indent paragraphs using 8 spaces
  • Double spaced lines
  • Page headers with page number at the header
  • No contractions ("isn't")
  • No phrasal verbs (I will give you a list of examples in a moment to help you follow this requirement)
  • No idioms (I will give you a list of examples in a moment to help you follow this requirement)
  • Subheadings to separate introduction, subtopics, and conclusion.
  • Use the Justified page format (not Centered, left/right, but the last option with text stretching the full width called Justify)
  • Separate Bibliography page, if sources are used.
  • Title page is required. Format:

Phrasal verbs and with what to replace them:

  1. Leave out → Omit. "The study left out key variables." → "The study omitted key variables."
  2. Look at → Investigate/Examine. "This paper looks at climate impacts." → "This paper investigates climate impacts."
  3. Fill in/out → Complete. "Participants filled out surveys." → "Participants completed surveys."
  4. Go up → Increase/Rise. "Prices went up significantly." → "Prices increased significantly."
  5. Set up → Establish/Organize. "We set up a new experiment." → "We established a new experiment."
  6. Pick out → Select/Identify. "Researchers picked out relevant data." → "Researchers selected relevant data."
  7. Use up → Exhaust/Deplete. "Resources were used up quickly." → "Resources were exhausted quickly."
  8. Get across → Communicate. "The theory was hard to get across." → "The theory was hard to communicate."
  9. Cut down → Reduce. "We must cut down costs." → "We must reduce costs."
  10. Talk about → Discuss. "This section talks about limitations." → "This section discusses limitations."
  11. Put up with → Tolerate. "The system put up with errors." → "The system tolerated errors."
  12. Go on → Continue. "The reaction went on for hours." -> "The reaction continued for hours."
