1. I found Prolewiki through Reddit and Twitter. I have wanted to join it because I want to contribute and enhance existing articles on Prolewiki.

2. I uphold Marxism Leninism. I uphold states that are DOTPs/socialist states. Those states are Cuba, Laos, China, Vietnam, and the DPRK. I came to Marxism-Leninism from a naive social democratic perspective. After I watched Hakim and other Marxist YouTubers I realized the flaws of social democracy and how Marxism-Leninism is superior to free the workers of the world.

3. I have read the site’s principles. I don’t have any objections. I support AES and critically support nations that may not be DOTPs/socialist states like Venezuela. A country like Venezuela has done a lot of progressive things to advance socialism like communes, however I view Marxism Leninism to be the most perfect and advanced way to achieve a socialist world even if I critically support socialists of other stripes like in Venezuela.

4. Gender is a social construct. Many societies had more than two genders, such as ancient India. Marxists should support the LGBT community because they are oppressed and used as scapegoats to avoid class conflict. Class conflict and capitalism are the true threats of the working class that have to be eliminated. Bigotry is used by fascists to divert from these points.

5. I support both Stalin and Mao. They were both progressive and advanced socialism in the world. Maoist China had the fastest rate of a life expectancy increase in the world and Stalin industrialized the USSR into the 2nd strongest nation in the world. I believe their historic roles as liberatory. I believe they advanced socialism across the world and led to socialism being a real threat to capitalism. That caused capitalist powers like the US to both shake in fear and do everything possible to stop that. However, both did mistakes. For example, I don’t agree with the deportations of minorities that Stalin did. It seemed to be unnecessary collective punishment. Of course the US didn’t treat minorities better at the time and put Japanese people in concentration camps around the same time as the deportations, but I view them as unnecessary. I also think Mao’s Cultural Revolution was flawed and filled with excesses. I believe the purging of people, such as Deng was not necessary even if he was rehabilitated. I do believe that the Cultural Revolution was meant to be progressive, but it had many faults.

6. I believe all of AES are socialist nations. I believe that each of these nations has looked at their material conditions and material conditions internationally to do appropriate reforms. The commonality, however is the common DOTP in each nation with their respective communist parties being the vanguard of the working class. That is what differentiates them from capitalist countries. I don’t believe it is in my place to critique the leadership of these countries. I think they as fellow communists have a much stronger grasp over their material conditions than someone like me.

7. Settler colonialism is when foreigners commit colonialism and replace the indigenous population of their nation and replace them with settlers who then occupy the nation. Multiple nations fit the definition of settler colonialism. The most prominent example is the US. I believe that these nations have to be fundamentally decolonized. That’s why I laugh at the idea of PatSocs who propose concepts like the "United Socialist States of America." This idea of socialism is not achievable in the current US. The current US has to be replaced with a decolonized society to truly achieve socialism. That’s why Israel was never socialist even if it proclaimed to be during the time of leaders, such as Ben Gurion. It wasn’t socialism for the masses it was "socialism" for the parasite settlers who destroyed and took over the land of indigenous people in Palestine while ethnically cleansing them. I believe that the minorities of my nation (the US) have to be liberated through the decolonization of the US as a country. To start we must fundamentally destroy the current US state, apologize to the minorities of our nation, such as African Americans and Native Americans, and then come up with a new society that respects the rights of minorities and includes the reparations of those who suffered during our current settler colonial U.S. state. I am also Pakistani and I believe that the situation there is a bit more difficult. Minorities, such as LGBT people are oppressed and we have to first turn Pakistan into a secular nation where minorities, such as LGBT people are respected. However, Pakistan is a very socially conservative nation, so we can’t be explicitly anti-religion. We must make clear as Pakistani communists that we respect religion including Islam and we wish to keep the good things in it and implement them in a new socialist Pakistani society.

8. The situation in Palestine is reprehensible. It is a complete genocide by the Israeli settler colonial apartheid state. I believe October 7th was an appropriate response to the ongoing destruction of Palestine. If you didn’t want violence then you shouldn’t have killed, ethnically cleansed, and stole the land of the indigenous people of Palestine first. I believe Hamas as liberatory and I give them critical support just like communist groups in Palestine do, such as the PFLP. All of Israel is garbage and it is fundamentally from its very core a settler colonialism apartheid state that has to be vanquished.

Second set of questions:

7. Imperialism is inherently linked with capitalism and capitalism is always linked with imperialism. That does not mean every capitalist nation is imperialist, but according to the Leninist definition every capitalist nation wishes to be imperialist. The IMF and World Bank are directly related with imperialism. They seek to continue the capitalist system in perpetuity while oppressing the masses of any nation that tries to seek help from them. This is done through their restructuring programs that push for liberalizations and a free market hell scape. This can be seen in many nation (Pakistan) which is an IMF hell hole of debt and predatory lending.

8. I have. A more general example is Blackshirts and Reds by Michael Parenti. It is more general than focusing on a single socialist state, but this book was instrumental in me seeing through the lies of capitalism and the equivocation of fascism and communism/socialism. It accurately mentioned some of the flaws in the USSR and other socialist nations, such as doing faulty production methods to meet quotas while also mentioning how socialism took the USSR to a superpower and greatly improved the lives of other people in socialist nations. I believe that the book didn’t necessarily add to Marxism Leninism like how Maoists say Mao was a fundamental addition to Marxism Leninism, but I view it as a book that took significant misconceptions I had and turned them into an understanding and appreciation of past socialist experiments. I liked the book because it helped me understand the propaganda that I was fed and why it was wrong.

6. Marxism theorizes that you can’t immediately go into communism like some other anti-capitalist movements like Anarcho Communists. Marxists like I believe that a transitional socialist state is a necessity and immediately jumping to communism is pure idealism and isn’t possible. There is a reason why Anarchists have constantly failed and why only Marxists have been seen as a threat to the capitalist mode of production.

5. The most pressing issue for communists in the US is raising class consciousness and organizing. We must organize other workers into our movement to try and face the incoming fascist threat that capitalism always evolves into. I believe that there are multiple good communist parties in the US, but my preference is the PSL. They do amazing grass roots organizing and have continually grown.

In Pakistan I believe it is the same. Organizing and raising class consciousness is vital. However, it is also important to clearly mention that we as communists do not seek to hurt any religious people. If we took an anti-religion perspective then communism in Pakistan would never grow. We must be pragmatic and make clear that the freedom of religion is vital and implementing the good things in religions, such as Islam is not bad either. We do not have a huge communist influence, but I like the Mazdoor Kisan Party. They are led by Taimur Rahman and in my view have worked with the masses to de-stigmatize communism and Marxism-Leninism.

2. I view national liberation as a key aspect of Marxism-Leninism. People of countries, such as the Sahel in Africa are oppressed by French neocolonialism. National liberation must take on this neocolonialism head on while also directly working toward the establishment of a DOTP and socialist state that will take on the bourgeoisie and give workers control over their economies and political systems. This must be done while also recognizing that the minorities of these oppressed nations must also be free. National liberation is not possible without the liberation of every worker including those who fascists use to scapegoat from class struggle and the capitalist mode of production, such as LGBT people.

Optional questions:

1. I think it is fine. I believe that we as communists must be very clear on important issues. That is why people should only be able to edit who recognize that Marxism is not a dogma and it evolves. This application process is perfect to route out dogmatists like Maoists and Hoxhaists. We must be clear that MLs must constantly analyze the material conditions of their nations and international material conditions. Just because a socialist state does things like market reforms does not make them "revisionist." They have just recognized that some compromises must be given to continue their path toward developing both socialism and communism. That is why China is still socialist and why these dogmatists have been unable to have a successful revolution.

2. Unfortunately, no.
