Djehutimesu I (died 1493 BCE) was the third ruler of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. He expanded the state south beyond the Third Cataract of the Nile. He also invaded and destroyed the Mesopotamian Kingdom of Mitanni. After his death, his son Djehutimesu II succeeded him.[1]
