Enrico Pieri was an Italian anti-fascist and anti-war activist. In 1944, he survived a German massacre of 560 civilians at Sant'Anna di Stazzema. After the war, he worked with lawyers in an attempt to prosecute the SS soldiers who committed the massacre.[1]
