You can now create PDF books on ProleWiki (a collection of one or more pages from the website) and download them locally.
To create your own Collection, simply click this link or, you'll find the link on the homepage megamenu as well.
It will take you to the homepage and a notice should appear at the top of the page, inviting you to "add this page to your book".
From that tab, visit any page you want to add to your book (such as Karl Marx or Friedrich Engels). You can even visit essays or library books and add them to the book.
Once you've added a few pages, the book creator notice can also Suggest pages for you to add to your book.
Once you're done adding your pages, click on "Show book". You will be taken to Special:Book. From that page, you can give your book a title, a subtitle, and choose some formatting
You can also reorder or remove pages from the book and even create chapters.
Once everything looks good, click on "Download as PDF" on the right. Your book may take a moment to be processed into a PDF, feel free to refresh the page as much as needed (it seems like it doesn't do it automatically). Once the process is complete, you might need to refresh the page one last time so that you see a download button. Click on that, and your PDF will open into your browser. Then download it like you normally download PDFs.
Creating books is currently available to all users, whether they have an account on ProleWiki or not.
